The Siruwia Japanese Garden also operates as a thriving horticultural center, specializing in the natural propagation of ornamental plants (including division and rhizome layering). We offer for sale seedlings of plants that can be admired throughout our garden. This is a rich plant collection that we have cultivated for many years in the natural conditions of the Siruwia Japanese Show Garden. Our garden is located at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level, which means that the plants propagated and grown here are well-adapted to the mountain climate and can thrive even in very demanding conditions. We prepare seedlings of numerous shrubs, including magnolias and many varieties of azaleas and rhododendrons—plants for which our garden is famous. We also sell exotic trees such as Japanese maple trees and pines in mugo and sylvestris varieties, as well as pruned pines—niwaki. We specialize in propagating the exceptionally original perennial Gunnera manicata (giant gunnera), ornamental grasses, bamboo, and hostas. We are happy to share our horticultural knowledge and experience, including advice on garden design and landscape arrangements. Customers who purchase our seedlings can also draw inspiration from the ready-made plant compositions in our show garden, gaining ideas for arranging their own gardens, flower beds, or blooming balconies.
